How to choose the best:
Chard

AKA: SWISS CHARD, RAINBOW CHARD

Touch

Look for crisp, robust leaves that are attached to a strong, tough stem down the center. You’re looking for stems that snap rather than bend.

Avoid any leaves them seem to be soft or wilting at all, or have any soft or slimy spots.

See

Some chard has beautifully colored stems, with jeweled toned yellows are reds.

Look for a vibrant green color across the shiny leaves, and a lighter color through the stem.
